Get ready to rock, Bronx! Bronx Summer Jam is back this month!
On June 21, the fourth annual Bronx Summer Jam will return to Bronx Park East, bringing together local artists and DJs for an outdoor celebration of music and arts in the borough. Like in years past, the event is free and open to all ages.
“It takes a village to create something that lasts, and with Bronx Summer Jam, this is a community effort bound to stay,” Fernando Michael, founder of The Fox and King, said. “It’s all about local music, our love for the borough and giving back to a culture that built us.”
Bronx Summer Jam will feature a diverse lineup across two stages: the Kings Stage and Sirens Stage. A full lineup is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The festival will also feature vendors from local businesses for visitors to enjoy.
The event is made in collaboration with the Bronx-based companies The Fox and King and Sounds & Sirens, which together make the collaborative events group Sirens & Kings, in 2022 as a way to provide the local Bronx community with a judgment-free and cultural space to help kick-start the borough’s live music scene.
“I’m incredibly proud to be celebrating 4 years of Bronx Summer Jam,” Michael Nickerson, founder of Sounds & Sirens said. This started as a passion project, and its become a staple for live music in the Bronx. We do it for the community and for the music. We hope to continue to bring new music events to the Bronx and beyond.”
Bronx Summer Jam will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to secure a spot on the lawn.
